We are getting ready to celebrate the season of
giving — Christmas! Everyday here at St Francis
Table feels like Christmas.

Capuchin Outreach to the Poor (Parkdale) was
founded in 1987 by the Capuchin Franciscan
Friars of Central Canada with the vision of
creating a faith community with the poor by
providing direct services that seek to enhance
the sense of human dignity of those who are in
need.
St Francis Table, the primary expression of
Capuchin Outreach, serves meals six days a
week in Toronto’s Parkdale community. Patrons
are asked to make a $1 donation towards their
three course meal which is provided with full
restaurant service.

St. Francis Table Summer 2022 Appeal
St. Francis Table congratulates members of the newly elected Provincial Council for the Capuchins of Central Canada. These friars serve as the Board of Directors for Capuchin Outreach to the Poor (Parkdale). We thank Br. Roberto Genuin OFM Cap, Minister General and Br. Celestino Arias OFM Cap., English Definitor (Councillor) for their visit to St. Francis Table in May, 2022. They were both impressed with the ministry here and grateful to our volunteers and donors who make it work! We were told that St. Francis Table, here in Parkdale is well known in Rome!

It’s been quite a change coming back to St. Francis Table after four years and in the midst of a pandemic. I’ve been here for a month now. Dealing with takeout meals, given with love, care and respect as part of the many beautiful gestures which happen daily here. The pictures speak loud and proud of good things you as donors make happen.
